Project Info
Project Size (sf / site acreage):
95,000 SF
Project Synopsis:
The renovation of the College Activities Building on The Evergreen State College Campus transforms a formerly defunct collection of campus service spaces into a thriving hub of student activity. This uniquely student-driven project makes the most of design choices to create critical campus connections: east campus to west campus, upper site level to lower site level, forests to buildings, and students to students. Seeking LEED Gold certification, this renovation uses ecologically responsible design choices to evoke an essentially sustainable culture.
